August - Odd & Ends

A little collection of lots of things here. 4H is big this time of year. We all helped out on a community project and also walked in the parade. We also went to Adventureland for Daniel's birthday & Emma drove bumper cars with Kayli. I also added a short clip of Emma, some talking and some signing. She's a little bashful & tired. ;-)

The Wedding

Needed just a few more pics of this! What a beautiful bride and flower girl! After the wedding we were treated to some bongo drum music. They even let Kyle play some too!

Welcome to Jamaica Man!

Our daughter's wedding and family vacation were all rolled into one this year as we headed off to Jamaica for Brooke & Kyle's destination wedding in Ocho Rios. Three nights was not nearly long enough - we should have stayed longer! But, we packed a lot of fun in the few days we were there - swimming, snorkeling, climbing waterfalls, and building sand castles on the beach. Also lots of fun, family night life there too - dancing & music everywhere. If anyone in your family is thinking of getting married - go with the destination wedding option! Tons of fun!

Brooke's Briday Shower

We had a bridal shower for Brooke at Southern Hills Winery this spring - lots of fun for kids and adults that day!

Chingawassa Days

Every June we try to make it down to Kansas to visit relatives and go to Chingawassa Days. We all had a great time this year - just a wonderful week-end!

Graduation

In May - our oldest son, Blake, graduated from high school! Whew! One more done! He's in college now, planning to work in Nuclear Medicine.

Birthday!!

I remember how sad I was last year when Emma couldn't spend her birthday with us. We made up for it this year! While we don't have pics of everything - we went and played Lazer Tag, had a pizza party, then later a pinata and party at home. So much fun! I know Emma had a blast. She invited her cousins - Cassie & Slade. That always works out great - because Daniel & Slade like to play and Cassie & Emma are best friends. So glad they could come!
